Overview
SCDAA and its member organizations engage in community outreach and program efforts throughout the United States and Canada. These efforts may include but are not limited to: educational campaigns and programs that provide services such as genetic testing and counseling, case management and psychosocial support for individuals and families impacted by sickle cell disease.
Scholarships
SCDAA recognizes undergraduate academic excellence and achievement among students living with sickle cell disease and inspire graduates to consider dedicating their careers to sickle cell research and treatment by offering an array of scholarship opportunities.
Technical Training
SCDAA will periodically offer training opportunities for professionals and organizations on topics such as Member Capacity Building, Nonprofit Governance, Advocacy, Funding Sustainability, and Leadership Development.
