Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc. (SCDAA) is headquartered in Hanover, Maryland. SCDAA is a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing the search for a universal cure for sickle cell disease. Our mission is to advocate for people affected by sickle cell conditions, empower community-based organizations and raise awareness. SCDAA serves as the nation’s only nonprofit organization working full-time on a national level to resolve issues surrounding sickle cell disease and trait. Member Engagement Manager

The member engagement manager will manage SCDAA’s robust membership base by actively recruiting new members and retaining existing ones through engagement strategies, processing membership applications and renewals, maintaining accurate member data and providing excellent customer service to all members. This professional serves as the primary point of contact and ambassador/liaison for membership inquiries and concerns and will work closely with the SCDAA Board’s Membership Committee Chair, the Director of Development and Stakeholder Engagement and the CEO to promote membership benefits and drive recruitment initiatives. Staff Accountant

The full-time position of Staff Accountant supports the accounting and finance department. This position reports to the CFO and is based in the SCDAA National Office located in Hanover, Maryland. The organization works a hybrid schedule of both in office and telework. Duties and responsibilities will include tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, cash management and more. Learn more and apply.
